My interests lie in where the creative and economy sector meet and how the arts can change a community for the better. My career started in the visual arts with my undergraduate degree in Arts Management with a focus on Gallery/Museum Management. While working at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) I moved from their Visual Arts Department to the Performing Arts and started working with the Company Manager on artist services for their concerts, performances and festivals. From there I worked in various local arts organizations that focused on the creative economy and community engagement. I also spent a season working at the Williamstown Theatre Festival as the Assistant Company Manager and three years in Boston working at ArtsEmerson.
In 2016 I decided to pursue a graduate degree and graduated in 2019 from University of Connecticut with an MFA in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management. My thesis project can be viewed at museumeducationpartners.uconn.edu.
Post graduation I worked at the Greater Hartford Arts Council as the Community Investment Manager and I am currently working at the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
